O antigo sistema do Estado est\u00e1 desativado desde dezembro de 2023 e ser\u00e1 restabelecido, segundo o governo de Pernambuco, a partir do primeiro trimestre de 2025.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Eu espero que aquilo que interfere na vida do Recife seja bem feito. O sistema de c\u00e2meras do estado j\u00e1 est\u00e1 sem funcionar h\u00e1 mais de um ano. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 nenhuma c\u00e2mera da pol\u00edcia na cidade. As nossas est\u00e3o \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o da pol\u00edcia, se quiser usar, mas elas existem para atender \u00e0s nossas necessidades estrat\u00e9gicas, como ver o tr\u00e2nsito, o com\u00e9rcio, a ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o, a circula\u00e7\u00e3o de pessoas&#8221;, afirmou o prefeito.<\/p>\n<p>A empresa Teltex Tecnologia foi homologada vencedora da licita\u00e7\u00e3o das c\u00e2meras do Estado no dia 20 de dezembro e vai receber R$ 122,9 milh\u00f5es para prestar o servi\u00e7o. Est\u00e1 prevista a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de duas mil c\u00e2meras em todos os munic\u00edpios da Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana do Recife e em alguns localizados no interior, como Caruaru, no Agreste, e Petrolina, no Sert\u00e3o.
